This summer, 3LHD organised a team-building trip centred on visiting active projects and exploring Mediterranean architectural heritage.
We began at the construction site of the Grand Villa Argentina hotel in Dubrovnik, where the team had the opportunity to see first-hand how historic villas and new hotel facilities are combined into a single complex overlooking the Old Town and Lokrum.
The following day, we travelled by boat to the Stonemasonry School on Brač, where we learned about traditional stone craftsmanship, the history of Brač stone, and its role in the architecture of Adriatic towns.
The trip concluded with a visit to Hotel Marjan in Split. With the tower structure completed and interior works in full progress, the team gained insight into how a project evolves from visualisations and drawings into concrete spatial experiences that will soon form a new hotel environment on the West Coast.
